Should I use commas or decimals to separate currency?

Dollars and cents should be separated by decimal points only. If we had a gift card we were importing that was twenty five dollars and fifty cents written out it would look like this:

25.50

For a bigger gift card value something like three thousand fifty dollars and eighty cents it would be written out like this:

3050.80

*Notice that there are no commas

Also when inputting the Balance or the Initial Value there should be no currency symbols just the number.
